The Cultural Access Pass Program provides complimentary admission to new Canadian citizens within their first year of citizenship. New citizens can apply for the CAP online at www.icc-icc.ca and present their pass upon arrival at Studio Bell for free entry. 100%
City of Calgary Fee Assistance (with Fee Assistance ID for adult ticket price) 50%
Veterans are entitled to discounted admission. This will be applied with the presentation of a valid Veterans Affairs Card, Service I.D. Card (regular force or reserves), Military Card (CF1) or discharge papers, with photo I.D.* 25%

Everyone is welcome to Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre. We want to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. The fourth north entrance is fully accessible and service dogs are welcome with proper identification.

A self service coat check is also available at the Visitor Services desk.

 Getting Here


Studio Bell is located in Calgary’s East Village at 850 4 Street SE, Calgary. We encourage you to walk, bike or take transit to visit Studio Bell and then explore the restaurants, pathways and parks of Calgary’s East Village!

Walk / Bike

We are less than a 10 minute walk from the Calgary Tower, the Calgary Stampede, and Calgary City Hall and we are located directly on Calgary’s bike path system.


Studio Bell is a short walk from the City Hall LRT Station. Exit the east end of the station platform and walk along 7 Avenue to 4 Street SE. Turn right onto 4 Street SE and walk south to Studio Bell. Walking time to Studio Bell from the station is approximately 10-15 minutes.

A bus stop is located at 9 Avenue and 4 Street SE that is served by buses #1 and #305 (weekday rush hour). For more transit information, please visit calgarytransit.com.


The City of Calgary Parking Authority has lots located at 363 9 Avenue SE, 724 4 Street SE, and street parking on 8 Avenue SE and throughout the East Village. Parking is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week on a first come, first served basis.
