(Calgary, AB — October 9, 2024) Get ready to sleigh the night away at the holiday bash of the year, Studio Bell After Hours: Holiday Edition. National Music Centre’s nighttime series geared towards music fans 18+ will return right in time for the festive season on Saturday, December 14, from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am. Early Bird tickets are on sale now at studiobell.ca/whats-on.

This yule-tide celebration will be anything but your typical night at Studio Bell. With lights dimmed, beats turned up, and a ho-ho-whole lot of holiday cheer, expect a night of tree-mendously good times.

Drag superstar, artist, and Canada’s Drag Race alum Tynomi Banks, known for her dazzling, full-production performances, will be bringing her iconic energy to the stage, alongside top-tier Alberta queen LILITH FAIR, for a show that’s guaranteed to make your spirits bright.

"I love Calgary (especially those cowboys), which is why I’m coming back in December to sleigh the house down boots,” said Tynomi Banks. “I’ll be bringing big diva moments as well as some fiery, sexy times performing numbers by artists that inspired my drag. Look out Calgary, I’m coming for you this holiday season."

With multiple dance floors and DJs serving up their best selections, partygoers should get their dancing shoes ready. House DJ and producer Joanna Magik and hip-hop titan DJ Pump will keep the dance floors alive, while keys player Chris Maric delivers a bevy of grooves in the chillout lounge.

"We’re so excited to bring Studio Bell After Hours back from hiatus, and what better way to celebrate than with a holiday edition full of festive fun,” said Stephanie Hutchinson, NMC’s Director of Programs. “This event has always been about connecting music lovers in a vibrant, after-dark atmosphere, and this year we’re pulling out all the stops. With incredible drag performances and DJs that will have you dancing all night long, it’s going to be a night to remember."

Guests can also expect:

  • Cirque de la Nuit performers
  • Interactive fun, games, and music experiments
  • Pop-up bars with seasonal-themed cocktails
  • Festive photo-ops
  • Dazzling décor across all five floors of Studio Bell
