National Music Centre Announces Randy Bachman Live on February 9

Randy Bachman: Every Guitar Tells a Story exhibition extended to end of February 2024

(Calgary, AB — November 9, 2023) National Music Centre (NMC) is excited to announce that legendary Canadian rocker Randy Bachman is returning to NMC’s theatre at Studio Bell on February 9. This time, with his band!

The new live date will feature Bachman’s beloved storytelling, a performance backed by his touring band, and notable instruments from Randy’s personal guitar collection, currently on display in the NMC exhibition, Randy Bachman: Every Guitar Tells a Story. NMC will also be extending the exhibition until the end of February 2024.

“I can’t wait to get back to the National Music Centre’s amazing, intimate theatre to reunite with my fans – and my guitars,” said Randy Bachman. “I’ve been touring with my band all over Canada and the U.S. It’s been wonderful connecting with old and new fans, sharing songs and memories.”

“Since launching the exhibition, guitar enthusiasts from around the world have had the chance to marvel at Randy’s incredible guitar collection,” said Andrew Mosker, NMC’s President and CEO. “We’re thrilled to offer the exhibition to fans for a little bit longer, and welcome Randy back to perform live for everyone.”

Randy Bachman is a legendary figure in the music world through his talents as a guitarist, songwriter, performer, record producer and mentor. A member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, his music is a soundtrack of the last 40 years of popular music. His many hits with The Guess Who (“These Eyes,” “Laughing,” and “American Woman”) and Bachman-Turner Overdrive (“Let it Ride,” “Takin’ Care of Business,” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet”) continue to resonate today.
