National Music Centre (NMC) is a registered charity with program offerings that include exhibitions, artist development, performances, and education. A hub for music in Canada, NMC is creating a positive impact by connecting people through the power of music.
Support music in Canada. Support the National Music Centre.
NMC Jam Club is one of the many ways our youth programs are making an impact. Jam Club is a free drop-in program that has nurtured the growth of hundreds of aspiring musicians since its inception in 2012.
Help aspiring artists find community through music.
NMC's "living collection" is used by artists across all genres to record new music during artist residencies, professional development programs, and live performance initiatives.
Support artists at all stages of their careers.
NMC is inspiring students through hands-on education programs that foster curiosity, discovery, and learning through the lens of music. From curriculum-based school programs to summer camps, education is at the heart of everything we do.
Inspire the next generation of musicians.
NMC believes we can transform lives through the healing power of music. In 2022, we proudly launched three new music therapy programs at Studio Bell and we have continued our partnership with Calgary Health Trust and JB Music Therapy to support music therapy at two local hospitals.
