About Backstage Pass Tours
Through an exclusive Backstage Pass tour, visitors will catch a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the working spaces of our world-class recording facilities and hear the stories behind notable artifacts, spanning 450 years of music innovation and technology, from NMC’s talented music educators, technicians, and studio team.
Visitors will gain insight into some of NMC’s most treasured items — that few members of the public have seen — from the earliest instruments in the NMC Collection, such as a 16th century Trasuntino Harpsichord, to modern electronics, like TONTO, considered to be the ‘holy grail’ of synthesizers.*
- Backstage Pass tours are offered on select days at 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm.**
- Tours are one hour in length. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour.
- Recommended for ages 12 and up. Strollers are not permitted on Backstage Pass tours.
- Spots are limited, so be sure to reserve your tickets in advance. You can purchase your tickets online in advance or in-person from the ticket desk, located inside the main entrance of Studio Bell.
