Artist Entrepreneur West (AE West) is a five-week creative entrepreneurship program designed to help emerging artists from all genres build sustainable businesses and careers in music.
Through hands-on mentoring, networking, and collaboration with music industry professionals, artists will gain skills in areas of management, marketing and promotion, booking, touring, production, accounting, legal, and more. Artists will also have access to the world-class facilities at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, including our recording studios and living collection.
AE West is an extension of the highly-regarded Toronto-based Artist Entrepreneur Program from Canada’s Music Incubator (CMI) and represents a partnership between CMI and NMC, with the generous support of TD Ready Commitment, Stingray Radio, the Government of Canada, Canada Council for the Arts, and Manitoba Music.
